Is it possible if the SAP scope of list “ALV” could be made available in ME5A transaction? We are now using Release 4.6C.

At the moment if we run ME5A transaction, the SAP system will list open requisition in a certain format which makes it very difficult to review and to download.

Is there any way in the standard ME5A transaction to display the list output in a ALV grid format?

Check the path SPRO → Materials Management → Purchasing → Reporting → Maintain purchasing list →Scope of list → Define scope of list.

Select the scope of list and click on the details button. At the bottom, you can see field Use ALV grid control. Check the box and save.

In Which table does the above entry (Purchase Order Creation Time ) exists.

As per my view purchase order creation time is not stored in any table. You can see created by and created on in EKKO table. EKKO-AEDAT has the date, but not the time.

CDHDR and CDPOS only have records for changed POs. If it is usual that you change a PO immediatly after you create it, then you may find a record there. But if you only create and do not change anything, then you will not find a record in change records.

Purchase Order Message time gives the time of creation of PO – Ramesh

Another way to find Purchase order creation time is:

Whenever the PO saved, output generated and output saved immediately in system. Goto ME23N / ME22N transaction – click on messages – select the output message – and click on Further data.

This will give you the creation date and creation time (Subject to auto output message generation defined for document type).

This is the one way you can find the purchase order creation time. – Syed Hussain

Our users are supplying the updates to planning calendar (MD26 transaction) in an excel sheet. We have hundreds of these planning calendars that need to be updated on a regular basis.

Is there any function module or any other way to update planning calendar from excel sheet. I tried BDC. The period I extend are appearing in the recording.

The solution is:

You can use the Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW transaction) to record the MD26 transaction using the process you would follow manually. After saving the recording you can use a text input file to upload the calendar changes with your new recording. This is how I maintain adding / deleting / changing the planning calendars in our system today and it sure beats entering all that data by hand!
