Its German: Systemanalyse und Programmentwicklung
We use it at work and its good for stock control.
As for the question, it depends what you want to do in SAP, just a user, troubleshooting… I know the problem solving people and software development get paid loads.
The best way to learn it, is to use it daily. I moved companies a couple of years ago, both of which used SAP and i was surprised how different they were. I was a ‘power user’ at my previous company which meant I could do more things than most others, but I still got paid the same.
We are currently on the latest version.

Siomon H where do you work? I work for E.ON a german company! and they are big on SAP. Loads of positions and the slary is good. go to wwww.eon-uk.com/careers
